For children of all ages!
The Smyrna Public Library offers many reading and story time programs for children of all ages to help parents instill a lifelong love of reading.

The Youth Services Department won the 2005 Georgia Library Association Eason Associates Program Award! 2008 will be an even better year with more programming and increasing use of the library resources.

The 2007 Summer Reading Club program was the most successful ever. More than 100 programs were presented in two months. Registration for the 2008 Summer Reading Club will be held in May.

Regularly scheduled programs are listed below. Check the calendar for exact times:
- Toddlers - 18 to 24 Months
- New Twos - 24 to 30 months
- Big Twos - 30 to 36 months
- Story Time - Ages 3 to 6
- Emerging New Readers - Ages 4 and up
- Grade Schoolers - Grades 1 to 5
- Middle Schoolers - Grades 6 to 8
- Cuentos Bilingues - 3+ Años
